ABOUT ME:

I am an Assistant Professor of Structural Engineering at Cal State LA. My research interests lie in the area of Earthquake Engineering. I have studied innovative techniques that ensure economical, resilient, and sustainable design of civil infrastructures against seismic hazards. I have also collaborated with researchers in other disciplines of engineering, particularly mechanical and electrical engineering, to develop smart sensors and dampers toward health monitoring and vibration control of structures.
